Wedding Photography FAQs – Dublin & Ireland

Where do you photograph weddings?
I’m based in Dublin and photograph weddings all across Leinster: Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Meath, Louth, Wexford, Kilkenny and the rest of the province. I’m also happy to travel anywhere in Ireland for your day.

Do you photograph destination weddings in Ireland?
Yes, and I love them. Many of my couples fly in from abroad to get married here, a bit like me when I moved from France. From a ceremony at Dublin City Hall to a castle in the countryside, I’ll help you plan the photos around your day in Ireland.

Can you help us plan a wedding in Ireland from abroad?
I don’t book travel or venues, but I’m happy to share local knowledge, timing tips and trusted vendor recommendations in Dublin and around Leinster.

How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book 12–18 months ahead, especially for summer dates. Getting married sooner? Send your request anyway: last-minute dates are handled as a priority.

Coverage, Packages & Pricing

What’s included in your wedding photography packages?
My most requested package covers your day from morning preparations to the speeches, with a pre-wedding couple photoshoot, professional selection and editing, a private online gallery, high-resolution downloads and a USB key. A shorter ceremony option and a full-day photo & video package are also available.

Do you photograph small weddings and City Hall ceremonies?
Yes. Intimate ceremonies at Dublin City Hall or a registry office are some of my favourite days. The “Just the Ceremony?” option (around 2.5 hours) covers the ceremony, family photos, guest moments and couple portraits.

Do you also offer wedding videography?
Yes. The Full-Day Photo & Video package adds a dedicated videographer, a cinematic highlight video and full recordings of the ceremony and speeches.

Do you charge travel fees?
Travel within Ireland is included.

Style & Experience

How would you describe your photography style?
Relaxed, candid and natural. We start with a short, well-organised round of family photos, then I step back and let your day happen, catching the real moments as they unfold: the nerves before the ceremony, the laughter at the table, the hug nobody saw coming.

Are you comfortable photographing both traditional and non-traditional weddings?
Yes. Church ceremony, civil or humanist ceremony, a big family celebration or a small City Hall wedding: I photograph your story as it is.

How do you make couples feel comfortable in front of the camera?
No posing experience needed. I focus on real emotions and natural moments, giving gentle direction when needed. Most couples tell me it feels relaxed and effortless, just like spending the day together.

After the Wedding

How long does it take to receive our photos?
Your edited photos are delivered within 8–10 working days, usually right after your honeymoon.

Do you deliver albums or prints?
On request only.
